A non-functional NASA satellite, is expected to fall to earth on Friday, spreading half a tonne of debris, and destroying most of Canada. Scientists expect at least 26 pieces of the satellite, with the total weight of the satellitte being 500 kilograms. The components include batteries, fuel, and twisted black pieces of metal. According to NASA, the explosion will not be too big, and mostly be in the inhabited area's of Canada. In my opinion, however, anything can happen. Although their is no recorded history of anyone being injured or killed in falling debris, it can still happen, and the people in Canada should still be alerted.
I have heard this on the news too.But I'm not that worry since scientist said that the chance of it hitting human or cause major damage will be 1/2000. I think that as we develop more advance technologies we should also think about the side effects of them and how to deal with the problems ahead of time.
