On Thursday September 29th, an Ottawa doctor was accused of stalking Shania Twain, by sending her countless love letters saying how they would be perfect for each other, and following her wherever she went. Shania said that she is now scared to come to Canada, due to this stalker, and had to get a 24 hour security guard just to go to vacation in Dwight, Ont., cottage, and yet still found him parked outside her cottage with a Lamborghini, and in a boat back and forth across the adjacent river. Twain said she does NOT consider him a fan, but considers him a person that peruses her inappropriately. In the end, Twain made a restraining order against the doctor and he is not allowed to be within 500 meters of her. Twain also wants the doctor to be prosecuted. In my opinion, even though Shania Twain feels stalked, she has taken rash actions against this man. The restricting order was a good action, but the prosecution was not. Shania, being a star, should know better.

Deadly Typhoon hits the Philippines.
September 27th 2011

On September 27th, a deadly typhoon hit the Philippines with winds reaching up to 150km per hour. The disaster killed 16 people, mostly near metropolitan Manila, which was already soaked due to heavy rain. The police evacuated thousands of people, near the lower area, struggling in the flooding streets. “It's flooded everywhere. We don't have a place to go for shelter. Even my motorcycle got filled with water,” said motorist Ray Gonzales. Near the area of the typhoon, a billboard fell causing many injuries. Throughout the entire of this event, the Philippines stock exchange was closed, and so was all cellphone radio's. In my opinion, it was a good thing that most people were evacuated, and unfortunate that 16 people got killed. 5 hours before this event, some of my close family friends were visiting the Philippines and were actually in that area. It was a good thing they left, before it all happened.

Canada's destruction to be blamed on NASA?
September 20th 2011
http://www.montrealgazette.com/technology/Much+Canada+path+falling+space+junk+expected+Friday/5429399/story.html
A non-functional NASA satellite, is expected to fall to earth on Friday, spreading half a tonne of debris, and destroying most of Canada. Scientists expect at least 26 pieces of the satellite, with the total weight of the satellitte being 500 kilograms. The components include batteries, fuel, and twisted black pieces of metal. According to NASA, the explosion will not be too big, and mostly be in the inhabited area's of Canada. In my opinion, however, anything can happen. Although their is no recorded history of anyone being injured or killed in falling debris, it can still happen, and the people in Canada should still be alerted.

3 kills, and 15 wounds in Turkish capital
September 20th 2011,
On September 20th, 2011, a car bomb detonated in central Kizilay almost less than a kilometer from the Turkish Prime Minister's office. The explosion killed 3 people and wounded 15. The parked car in the neighbourhood, was filled with liquefied petroleum gas, which makes the probability of the car exploding, more likely. Due to all cars in Turkey having the petroleum gas, the bomb created a chain reaction with other cars wounding many more people. Out of the total 15 wounds, 5 were in critical condition, and had to be rushed to the hospital. The explosion took place a nearby primary school, and a bunch of shops, which were destroyed. President Abdullah Gul says its a terrorist attack, but in my opinion, it could have just been just about anything, from an oil leak, to a terrorist attack. Or,the car engine might have over heated and caught on fire, destroying many things around it.
